For our school project, we've crafted an intriguing application designed to provide users with a unique perspective on their Spotify data. So far, we've received survey responses from 89 participants who've contributed to our project's success.

The overarching theme we've chosen for our application is "space," and we've harnessed this concept to visualize the collected data in a visually captivating way. Our approach involves creating a captivating galaxy-like interface, complete with a central black hole and a series of orbiting planets. Users can interact with this cosmic display by clicking on one of the planets, which triggers a dynamic zoom-in effect, revealing pertinent data related to their Spotify usage. Within this galactic representation, we've established four distinct planets, each with its own unique data visualization:

Best Genre Planet: This celestial body is dedicated to showcasing the user's favorite music genre. It provides a visually appealing chart that illustrates their genre preferences.

Stream Count Planet: The number of times a song has been streamed takes center stage on this orbiting planet. Users can delve into insightful statistics related to their most-played tracks.

Top Song Planet: Here, users can explore their top song based on their favorite genre. We present this information in an engaging graph that highlights their musical preferences.

Artist Diversity Planet: The final planet in our cosmic display presents data regarding how many different artists the user has listened to. This statistic is presented in an eye-catching graphical format.

The entire user experience is enhanced with captivating visual effects, contributing to a seamless and engaging exploration of the Spotify data galaxy. I have personally overseen the development of the entire galaxy interface and the intricate programming that powers this project.

Our vision is to provide an innovative and visually appealing means for users to connect with their Spotify data, transforming what might be ordinary statistics into a mesmerizing celestial journey.
